Beautiful places in India at par with foreign countries..

There are places in India that are equal to or even more beautiful than foreign countries. I never travelled to any country in Europe and Africa. But I wanted to see similar Indian tourist sites and started traveling in India. mostly i used train and bus to reach those sites.

Traveling starts from north towards south.

1. Khajjiar(கஜ்ஜியார்) (Aka) Switzerland of India

Located in Himachal Pradesh, Khajjiar is known as the mini Switzerland of India. This picturesque hill station offers sprawling green meadows, dense forests and landscapes reminiscent of Switzerland. The Himalayan backdrop that surrounds the works will give you the feeling of being in Switzerland. Also, the lakes found in Khajjiar present a peaceful and beautiful environment similar to Switzerland. Khajjiar can be a great alternative option for the people who are unable to travel to Switzerland.

2. Auli(அவுலி) (Aka) Alaska of India

    Located in Uttarakhand, Auli is referred to as the Alaska of India. It has beautiful snow-covered slopes. In winter, the ice that surrounds the sloping landscape gives the feeling of being in a foreign land. Winters provide the best tourist experience. The views of the Himalayan peaks, perfect for skiing, and the densely packed snows that shine parallel to the glacial terrain of Alaska. This place is perfect for adventure lovers and snow lovers.

    3. Thar desert(தார்) (Aka) Sahara of India

    The Thar Desert in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan has been compared to the Sahara Desert in Africa. The sand dunes, extreme temperatures, and sparsely growing vegetation are typical of the Sahara desert. Along with camel rides, traditional Rajasthani music and dance performances offer a unique desert experience. It gives you the feeling of wandering into the Sahara desert while showcasing the heritage of India.

    4. Kumbhalgarh wall(கும்பல்கர் கோட்டை) (Aka) Great Wall of India

    Located in Rajasthan, Kumbhalgarh Fort is known as the “Great Wall of India”. The long glistening wall rivals the Great Wall of China.The fort stretches over 36KM. It ranks next to the Great Wall of China in terms of length. The imposing walls of the fort have intricate architecture and historical background reminiscent of the grandeur of the Great Wall of China.

    5. Coorg(கூர்க்) (Aka) Scotland of India

    This stunning hill station in Karnataka is hailed by tourists as the “Scotland of India”. The mountains hidden in the mist, the green forest environment with natural beauty, the sprawling coffee plantations and the cool climate are reminiscent of the Scottish Highlands in Scotland. Both of them have similar similarities. The lush greenery, winding roads, mesmerizing waterfalls, and serene lakes are a treat for the eyes. The natural beauty and pleasant weather make Coorg is a great choice for nature lovers who love the beauty of Scotland.
